VOYAGER CANOE ADVENTURE FOR UP TO 9 PEOPLE

After meeting your guide and taking a helpful safety brief, you´ll don your life jackets and climb aboard your Voyager Canoe in the heart of the South Hams ready for your amazing voyage of discovery along the stunning River Dart.

The canoe seats 9 crew plus 1 guide (there are lots of boats - even bigger ones - so any size group can be catered for) and you will hire it in its entirety, which includes a guide/steersman, buoyancy, paddles, picnic mats, flint and steel lit campfire brazier, BBQ kit (if requested), quick rig shelter, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. All you need to bring is a picnic or BBQ food and some cold drinks.

All of the trips are dictated by the tides, which change daily, but can be predicted up to a year ahead. Choose an early morning breakfast paddle, a day time picnic trip or a moonlight mystery tour. You will paddle your way down the river, with your guide steering you and showing you the beautiful and peaceful scenery. You will stop for an ice cream/drink at one of the villages on the river before paddling further down stream to stop for a bite to eat using your cooking facilities supplied or a lazy lunch at a riverside inn! Your guide will then steer you back once the tide has changed.

All of this is done specifically to the groups ability and confidence on the water, so you can either power down the river, or let the tide carry you. If you have a party or more than 12 people, please contact us, as larger bookings are available. Tel 0845 9000 316
